Aktuell hat das Kamerabild wenig Kontrast. Ursache: beim letzten starken Sturm am 30/31 Dez. wurde eine Menge Gischt aus dem Meer hochgewirbelt und das Salz hat sich auf den Objektiven abgelagert. Sobald es wieder regnet oder schneit, wird die Optik der Mobotix-Kamera aber wieder ohne menschliche Hilfe sauber gewaschen und die bekannte Bildqualität stellt sich ein.

At the moment the webcam pictures have not much contrast. Reason: the last storm (very strong with more than 150 km/h at 30/31th Dec) brought much salty spray from the sea which covered the lenses. But with the next rain/snow the lenses will be cleaned without "human help" and the pictures quality will be as usual. Just have in mind that the camera has no additional shelter and gets hit by every bad weather straight in 'it's face" ;-) But the Mobotix-Webcams ("made in Germany") are designed for the roughest outdoor conditions one can imagine.
